Guiyang city – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – and the nearby Gui'an New Area are poised to further drive up their high-quality and full employment this year.

They're aiming to jointly create 150,000 new urban jobs and provide employment for 11,800 people facing difficulties.

The Guiyang municipal bureau of human resources and social security says it will prioritize stabilizing employment as a crucial foundation for ensuring people's well-being and economic growth – ensuring that all employment-related tasks are solidly implemented to maintain a stable employment situation.

In terms of jobs creation and stability, last year Guiyang and Gui'an provided a total of 385,800 job positions.

This year, they plan to strengthen communications and coordinate with departments such as finance, education and finance – supporting their active participation in job creation, investment in employment funds and employment service activities to collectively promote job opportunities.

Furthermore, they will continue to implement a combination of policies – including tax cuts, support for enterprises and employment stability measures – fully unleashing the dividends from the policies to stabilize job positions.
