Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently reported a year-on-year GDP growth of 6.2 percent, with a GDP of 349.44 billion yuan ($47.73 billion), in the first nine months of this year.
In recent days, Guiyang's districts and counties also published their GDP during the period. According to the announced statistics, Nanming district had the highest GDP of 69.19 billion yuan, while Yunyan district witnessed the fastest growth rate, at 8.4 percent.
