From January to July, the added value of large-scale industries in Guiyang increased by 6.9 percent year-on-year.
Looking at the three major industries, the added value of the mining industry above designated size increased by 10.7 percent year-on-year during the period; the added value of the manufacturing industry above designated size increased by 7.2 percent year-on-year; and the added value of the electricity, heat, gas, and water production and supply industry above designated size increased by 3.4 percent year-on-year.
The added value of the city's seven major industries as a whole increased by 12.1 percent year-on-year, 5.2 percentage points higher than that of the city average for large-scale industries.
The new energy vehicles boasted the fastest growth rate at 26.4 percent year-on-year, while the decline rate of the aluminum and aluminum processing industry was 4.4 percentage points lower than that in the first half of this year.
