84 projects start construction in Guiyang and Guian

The launch ceremony for key provincial projects in the first quarter of 2023 was held in Guiyang and Guian New Area on Feb 1. There are 84 projects in total, including 73 projects in Guiyang and 11 projects in Guian, with a total investment of 80.84 billion yuan ($11.96 billion), ranking first in the province.

Five of these projects are based in Yunyan district, seven in Nanming district, 10 in Huaxi district, four in Wudang district, one in Baiyun district, two in Guanshanhu district, 11 in Qingzhen city, three in Xiuwen county, four in Xifeng county and five in Kaiyang county.

About 96.5 percent of projects focus on new industrialization, new urbanization, modern agriculture and tourism.
