Southwest China's Guizhou Provincial Development and Reform Commission and another six departments recently issued the Implementation Plan for Promoting Green Consumption in Guizhou Province.
The plan requires Guizhou to accelerate the green transformation of its development model, develop green and low-carbon industries, advocate green consumption, and further promote the formation of green and low-carbon production and lifestyle.
In addition, quantitative index requirements are proposed in the plan. It is proposed that by 2025, the number of green foods, organic agricultural products and geographical indication agricultural products in the province should reach more than 1,000.
30 specific measures were put forward, including promoting the construction of a green high-quality agricultural product base, improving green fiber and its deep processing industrial chain, promoting the application of new energy vehicles, and promoting the development of intercity railway and intercity highway passenger transportation.
