A few days ago, the National Development and Reform Commission announced the plan for alternative projects using Asian Development Bank (ADB) loans from 2022 to 2024, which included the construction project of Guiyang traditional Chinese medicine public health service system.
The project has received a loan of $110 million and has been approved by the ADB Board of Directors. After completion, it will improve the grass-roots response system in Guiyang – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – in case of public health emergencies, and enhance the ability of Guizhou's medical and health institutions to prevent and respond to infectious diseases.
