The Development and Reform Commission of Guizhou Province recently issued the "Construction of Urban and Rural Community Service System in Guizhou Province during 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25)" to promote more equal urban and rural community services.
According to the plan, by the end of 2025, the province expects to have 100 percent of the popular with access to urban and rural community comprehensive service facilities, with an area of 30 square meters for every 100 households.
Everyone in the province is also expected to have access to general self-service facilities for urban community government affairs.
In addition, the plan specified the key tasks for the construction of the provincial urban and rural community service system until 2025.
Guizhou will take 13 measures to improve the quality of urban and rural community services, including community care for minors and community elderly-care services.
The province will also improve comprehensive service facilities at the village level and community service facilities in old urban communities, while training for urban and rural community workers and building for community volunteers will be carried out.
