The Guiyang Development and Reform Commission a few days ago released information on the progress of investment projects in Guiyang in 2022. According to the information, in August, Guiyang started 50 new projects with a total investment of 11.06 billion yuan ($1.6 billion).
There were 91 projects declared for listing in the project library in August, with a total investment of 37.57 billion yuan.
As for progress on infrastructure projects, Guiyang plans to complete an investment of 55.9 billion yuan in 2022. Road network construction will cost 46.3 billion yuan, water network construction will cost 600 million yuan, power grid construction will cost 1 billion yuan, oil and gas network construction will cost 2.6 billion yuan, underground pipeline network construction will cost 3.3 billion yuan, and internet construction will cost 2.1 billion yuan.
As of July 29, a total of 33.73 billion yuan had been invested in the aforementioned projects, accounting for 60.03 percent of the annual goal.
Additionally, from July 16 to 29, relevant departments urged project construction units to speed up construction while ensuring safety. After on-site inspection, there were 55 projects progressing normally among the 58 projects under construction in the project library.
