According to recent data, in the first half of this year, Guiyang's fixed asset investment increased by 11 percent year-on-year.
In the first half of the year, Guiyang's fixed asset investment accounted for 24.2 percent of total investment in Guizhou province, an increase of 0.7 percentage points over the same period last year.
In terms of investment growth rate, it is 4.9 percentage points higher than the national growth rate and currently ranks fourth among provincial capital cities in China.
Additionally, the proportion of industrial investment among the city's fixed asset investment has increased to 20.8 percent, and the investment structure has been further optimized.
Since the beginning of this year, Guiyang has started 118 projects costing more than 100 million yuan ($14.45 million) each with a total investment of 114.16 billion yuan. The number of projects started and the scale of investment have remained at the forefront of the province.
Guiyang has made efforts to plan and obtain funds for projects within the central budget, environmental protection, and new kinetic energy funds.
