The semi-annual development results of Guiyang and Guian New Area's digital economy were recently announced. The data shows that from January to June, the two region's software business revenue was reported to be 31.85 billion yuan ($4.72 billion), a year-on-year increase of 111.7 percent, 128 digital economy projects were introduced, and a total of 18,721 5G base stations were built.
"The digital economy has strong development momentum, the scale of digital industrialization has expanded, and new digital infrastructure has accelerated." The development of the digital economy in Guiyang and Guian attracted a number of central media reports.
