The Guizhou Provincial People's Government recently formulated 20 measures to stabilize enterprises and benefit residents based on the situation of Guiyang's trade unions to support the economic development of Southwest China's Guiyang and Guian New Area.
The support policy for the full return of trade union funds for small and micro enterprises in Guiyang and Guian has been extended to Dec 31, and 13 million yuan ($1.94 million) is expected to be returned to the trade union funds of small and micro enterprises. In addition, 150-person quality improvement classes for grassroots workers will be held.
To improve quality of life for employees, Guiyang and Guian will raise 3.4 million yuan to allow 1,700 people to visit scenic spots and go sightseeing. Regions will release information onto the local cloud platform to help with the rural vitalization of agricultural products.
Guiyang also plans to spend 2 million yuan building 20 rest stops for truck drivers in logistics parks, large agricultural and commercial markets and other places where truck drivers are concentrated.
The regions organized five courses involving mobile photography, mobile short videos, pottery, oil painting, and official document writing, and sports meets and cultural training sessions for employees will be held there as well.
In addition, Guiyang and Guian will use the trade union platform to promote the employment of college graduates, migrant workers, laid-off workers, and struggling workers. They will raise more than 120,000 yuan to purchase medical mutual insurance for struggling employees.
