The Guiyang development and reform commission recently revealed the progress made on investment projects in Guiyang this year. According to public information, Guiyang plans to start 44 new projects in June, with a total investment of 18.5 billion yuan ($2.76 billion).
As of May 31, a total of 77 projects were collected to support the June investment plan in the city, with a total investment of 27.22 billion yuan and a planned investment of 9.86 billion yuan in 2022.
According to the implementation plan for promoting infrastructure in Guiyang, the city plans to utilize 55.9 billion yuan in investment in 2022, including 46.3 billion yuan for the road network, 600 million yuan for the water network, 1 billion yuan for the power grid, 2.6 billion yuan for the oil and gas network, 3.3 billion yuan for the underground pipeline network, and 2.1 billion yuan for the internet. As of May 31, the project has utilized 19.42 billion yuan in investment, accounting for 34.73 percent of the annual plan.
In addition, from May 16 to 31, according to the investigation of relevant government departments, work on 34 projects is progressing smoothly.
