The Guiyang development and reform commission visited the Guiyang oil transmission station of the South China Branch of the National Petroleum and Natural Gas Pipeline Network Group to inspect the elimination of hidden safety risks on March 14.
After the inspection, the inspection team held a symposium on the establishment and implementation of the safety production system. Arrangements were made at the symposium for safety improvements on long-distance oil and gas pipelines at oil stations.
The oil station was told to comprehensively carry out three-year action rectification work for safe production, as well as comprehensively sort out, accurately identify, and report on the safety risks of long-distance oil and gas pipelines.
It was also required to comprehensively review hidden safety risks that have been eliminated, update plans that are no longer applicable in a timely manner, and strengthen management of third-party construction and potential disasters.
In addition, it was ordered to install surveillance cameras at potentially dangerous spots as soon as possible and entrust a third party to carry out risk assessment before flood season.
The development and reform bureau of Wudang district was also told to take measures to solve traffic and travel problems for surrounding residents, remove trailers and tricycles from the streets, make sure there are no hidden safety risks in the area, and strengthen daily supervision of hidden safety risks.
