The State Council, China's Cabinet, recently issued a document to support Southwest China's Guizhou province in the comprehensive reform of the West China Development.
This will bring great opportunity to Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone in its building of open platforms for the province's high-quality development.

The zone is expected to continue to promote the quality improvement of the Shuanglong ecological park living circle, as well as kick off construction on the Longdong Road, Big Data City, and Colorful Guizhou living circles.
Plans are for the zone in the current year to build a park and ride (P+R) parking lot with 150 parking spaces. In addition, a multi-story car park in the third phase at Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport, with 1,205 parking spaces, is scheduled to be built next year.
The document proposed increasing the opening of Guiyang airports and implementing a 144-hour transit visa-free policy. The zone will accelerate the settlement and construction of the Guiyang cross-border e-commerce comprehensive service project, to increase the volume of foreign trade import and export business.
"The document mentioned that it is necessary to promote the construction of the National Big Data Comprehensive Pilot Zone and the Guiyang Big Data Science and Technology Innovation City and cultivate and expand emerging digital industries such as artificial intelligence, big data, blockchain and cloud computing," said Liu Lin, director of the zone's industrial development bureau.
"This will provide new development opportunities and clear directions for the zone to cultivate and expand enterprises related to emerging digital industries," Liu added.
