To help Guizhou achieve these goals, the central government will empower the province with more reform-related decision-making powers, offer more financial funds for the construction of infrastructure, environmental protection and improvement of people's livelihoods, support the construction of Guian New Area's green finance reform and innovation pilot zone, and support Guizhou's real estate investment trust pilot project.
The departments of the State Council will offer guidance and launch policies to aid in Guizhou's reform, and the National Development and Reform Commission will follow up on the implementation of the document, solve problems encountered in the implementation, and report crucial problems to the CPC Central Committee and the State Council.
Last year, Guizhou saw a GDP of 1.96 trillion yuan ($308.77 billion), an increase of 8.1 percent over 2020 and 13 percent over 2019.
It also took measures to control pollution, solve environmental pollution problems, and protect the natural environment, ranking among the best in China in terms of environmental quality in 2021.
