Development Planning Department

Head: Zhang Zhongmin

Responsibilities: 

The development planning department studies and proposes Guiyang's national economic and social development strategies, makes plans for productivity layout, total balance, and structural adjustment goals, and proposes policy recommendations. The department organizes research and surveys on the major issues of economic and social development; plans major special projects in economic and social development, formulates medium- and long-term plans for the city, guides the preparation of medium- and long-term planning for districts (cities, counties), and monitors and evaluates the implementation of the plans.
