Some 11 logistics enterprises based in the city of Guiyang – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province were rated as A class, according to the results of an evaluation conducted by the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing, which were released on Sept 5.
Among the companies, two were given a 4A class rating, five received a 3A class designation and four were rated 2A class.
In recent years, Guiyang has focused on boosting its logistics sector and it issued an implementation policy in 2020, to encourage logistics companies to apply for a national A class rating.
The city is reportedly moving to roll out preferential policies and services – as well as to improve the overall business environment for the companies – to achieve first-class development in the logistics sector.
