The Guiyang Development and Reform Commission – located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – held a training program on July 7-9 about the development of new infrastructure there.
The goal was to implement national, provincial and municipal policies to promote new infrastructure and improve the management of infrastructure projects in Guiyang and in the adjacent Guian New Area.
Focusing on the five-year plan to help Guiyang to be a stronger provincial capital and to promote Guiyang's new infrastructure construction during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), the three-day training session included policy briefings and surveys.
Officials said the training would help increase the level of new infrastructure in both Guiyang and Guian, as well as boost the development of the digital economy there.
