The Guiyang Development and Reform Commission – in the city of Guiyang in Southwest China's Guizhou province – held a meeting on Jan 19 to review the energy conservation report of the intelligent manufacturing industrial park in its Naming district.
The report, which it passed with flying colors, was a key part of Guiyang's energy saving assessment initiative, which aims to enhance reforms to its construction project examination and approval system.
The industrial park covers an area of 247 mu (16.47 hectares) and is a high-end manufacturing industrial facility that focuses on medicine production, as well as on the medical equipment manufacturing and electronic information industries.
The review meeting discussed the park's industrial orientation, energy consumption status and among other things, and planned out its energy consumption, energy conservation and energy efficiency standards, as well as the park's energy conservation targets by 2025.
The review aims to provide guidance for the park to introduce projects and save time and financial costs for companies when applying for energy conservation evaluations, which can further the improvement of the business environment.
