A recruitment drive on Sept 24 was held at the Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, attracting 50 companies and offering over 3,000 jobs in the services, and manufacturing industries.
In order to boost employment and meet the recruitment needs of its resident businesses, the GETDZ got information on job seekers at an early stage.
The zone also increased contact with enterprises, to learn about what they wanted.
As a result, at the event, recruitment specialists from GETDZ firms were able to answer questions and allay any doubts of employment applicants.
They gave them the relevant information about the companies, to accurately match job seekers to available positions.
During the activity, staff members from the zone's human resources department gave out information and details on its various employment policies.
They also interpreted in detail the various subsidy policies related to the COVID-19 epidemic situation -- and distributed over 1,000 copies of employment policy publicity materials.
The activity attracted over 800 zone residents and job seekers to participate and 110 preliminary employment agreements were reached.
Going forwards, the zone will continue to promote a series of recruitment drives.
It will use online and offline platforms to increase employment, alleviate the problem of employment within its jurisdiction -- and provide labor guarantees for the development of the zone's resident enterprises.
