The Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone -- in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- has issued 67.27 million yuan ($9.75 million) in support funds to resident companies and businesses in the year to July 31, according to GETDZ officials.
They said that in February the zone took the lead in issuing 10 measures to help resident companies cope with novel coronavirus epidemic and tide them over difficulties, together with supporting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.
According to GETDZ officials, after making the announcement on the measures, the zone immediately went full out to publicize and implement them.
In order to ensure the accuracy and effect of the policy support, the zone swiftly rolled out instructions to refine the content of the measures and tailored support to the individual needs of the enterprises.
At the same time, the GETDZ has held a range of activities -- such as government, bank and enterprise matchmaking meetings -- to form a bridge between financial institutions and enterprises, to provide convenient and efficient financing services for companies and help them solve their financing needs.
